Fuji
Fugi had been seen on a small ranch in Sacramento, he’d hobble around and get close, but wouldn’t let anyone near him. Finally, after 3 weeks, Ashley was able to catch him. Fugi was in terrible pain with a metal rod protruding from his leg. Ashley took him to our vet who took X Rays, removed the metal rod and closed the wound. learning to put weight on his leg and is on the mend. He’s living with another dog and we’ll post more about his personality soon. He’s about 15 pounds and a JR or terrier mix. Fostered in Sacramento.

LANA
Lana is am 8 pound cuddle-bug! She loves everyone and snuggles up right next to whomever is next to her...be it person or dog! She loves to sleep curled up against me and sometimes stays under the covers. She is also crate-trained!
She likes car rides and going on hikes. She greets visitors nicely and wants to get into their laps.
She is not tolerant of toddlers who want to hug and squeeze her, and she is also not good with cats. She gets along with all the dogs at the Sanctuary, plays with toys and actually fetches! This is a darling little pocket girl. Fostered in Grass Valley.

Ben: Independent, Active Senior Looking for the Same!
Ben is a 13 year old terrier mix who found himself in a rural county shelter when his owner became ill. The EMT brought him in and no family or friends have stepped forward to help the old boy.
Ben enjoys the simple things in life . . a walk, stopping to smell the “roses”, good food and special treats, and warm blanket to snuggle on. Ben is a sweet old boy. He is a little hard of hearing and his vision isn't what it used to be but he is still full of enthusiasm, happy and content.
