HANNAH
Hanna turned 9 years young on November 14, 2011. She's a red tri bred by Woodstock Aussies. She's 49 pounds, is in excellent shape, crate trained and
has had both obedience and agility training.
She has a few titles from CPE and Nadac, and has been herding instinct tested on sheep 3 times and loved it. She loves to go hiking and swimming in lakes
She knows: Sit, stay down, come leave it, Go kennel, outside, and chases a ball or Frisbee till she drops! Hannah loves children of all ages and was raised in a home that does daycare - she loves attention from children.
Hannah has always been the alpha since about 1 year of age and has tried to let the other dogs in her home know it every chance she gets. For the most part they have lived together ok but occasionally she will pick a fight with any of the other dogs over objects. The last several months the fights have escalated and her owner knows that Hannah should be an only dog and asked us to help rehome her.
Hannah has a happy attitude and goofy personality when she is by herself with her people. She would do well with someone who likes agility, or wants a well trained, activity partner.
No cats. Hannah is in Rescue, CA. Application required.

Toby
Toby turned 3 on November 4, 2011. He's a stunning 55 pound blue merle who has
not been formerly trained, but knows many commands and loves to fly high to catch his Frisbee. He was recently shaved - so his coat is growing out.
He's above average energy, likes children and touches their noses with his nose, likes car rides, and loves to be near his person. He will counter surf and get into the garbage if he can...but corrects easily.
He lives with an older female Aussie and with indoor cats. He's been around horses too. Toby is in Ben Lomand. Application required.

Zeppelin
Zeppelin is a 12 pound, 5 year old, neutered Mini Aussie Jack Russell mix.
The people bought him from a breeder in OR and all was going great until they got two, female rescue dogs who fight around poor Zeppelin. Owner has two kids and a husband in the military and can’t manage the 3 dogs and her busy life.
He’s had great vet care, knows 4 hand commands: Come, go out, go to kennel, and up.
He barks when meeting new dogs, but isn’t aggressive. He’s timid with new people coming to the house. He’s great with the children in his home as well as the children’s friends.
He sleeps in his kennel at night and when no one is home.Good in the car and fine in the yard alone. He’s good on a leash. He doesn’t seem to mind cats.
He would probably thrive in an experienced home with a well behaved able bodied dog, or as an only dog where he can get more training and lots of attention. He likes to play with people. Zeppelin is in Los Banos.

Sparky
Sparky is a 3 year old, neutered, 65 pound herding mix who is sweet and loving. He’s athletic, knows basic commands, quiet in the car, housebroken and loves the two girls in his home, ages 6 and 10.
He lives with a dominant German Shepherd, a Bishon and a Chihuahua. The German Shepherd constantly pushes him away from his owners when he’s getting any attention, so we’re looking for a new home for him where he will be able to get the loving he deserves. This is a nice boy who was adopted from a shelter as a puppy and has had excellent vet care and is in tip top shape. Sparky is near Grass Valley.

Bailey
Bailey is a loyal, beautiful Aussie mix who turns 10 on Thanksgiving. She weighs about 60 pounds, and we adopted her from the Fresno SPCA when she was only a few months old. She was raised with my son, 2 cats and 2 other dogs and a very busy household. During the last several years, she’s made it clear she does not want to live with other dogs, and she has begun stalking the cats. We’ve moved away from the home she’s known for 9 years, adopted two new dogs and cats, and her life style has been disrupted. She clearly isn’t adapting well. She picks fights with our Aussie, she’s stalking the cats, and she nipped at a delivery man walking past us. No contact, but still strange behavior for her. We now keep her in our bedroom now when visitors come by, and never leave her alone with the other dogs. She’s basically made it clear she wants to be an only dog. It breaks our hearts to rehome her, but know it’s best for her and our other animals.
She is very good off leash. Comes when called, knows sit and stay. Is housebroken and has never had an accident in the house. She is easy to be around and is very happy to just hang out with you inside or outside. She enjoys moderate to easy walking. She will just hunker down on long car trips and lay quietly. She has a beautiful soft thick hair coat and beautiful blue eyes. Her perfect home would be where she’s a companion for a person in a relatively quiet home environment, and have no small animals or children around.
Bailey is in Selma, Oregon.
